Annual Charteris Community Carol Concert

It’s that time of year again and I’m really pleased to be able to invite you to the 2nd Annual Charteris Community Carol Concert, which this year will be held on Friday 1 December at 7pm.  As an office tenant or regular hall user, you are part of the Charteris Community so it would be great to have you along to celebrate all things Christmas and Community at this event.

This year, we will hear from three groups who rehearse in the Centre (Edinburgh Society of Recorder Players, the Cheyne Gang Choir, and musicians from Edinburgh University Music Society), plus one of our office tenants (Heather Eboji from Edinburgh Street Pastors) and the choir from our sister organisation (Grassmarket Community Project – just voted Scottish Social Enterprise of the Year).  We’ll also have a Christmas message from Revd Richard Frazer (Greyfriars Kirk) and a blessing from Lt-Col John Charteris MBE MC (the great great nephew of the founder of these buildings, the very Revd Archibald Charteris).  To top it all, there will be plenty of festive nibbles afterwards.

There’s a flyer attached and posters/flyers are all around the Centre so please feel free to share with people in your own circles.  It’s also on our Social Media pages.  Thank you for your help in sharing this.

It is shaping up to be a really great evening so we look forward to celebrating with you at 7pm on Friday 1 December.
