Do you want to share your opinions about St Margaret’s House?

We are looking for residents of St Margaret’s House to take part in a focus group run by Dr Charlotte Gilmore of the University of Edinburgh to explore people’s ideas of St Margaret’s house and find ways to make it better and more welcoming for people in the local community.

We will be holding two focus group sessions and require 5 – 7 participants in each group. Would you be available on the 12th of February at either 12-1pm or 1-2pm? As a thank you for your time we will supply sandwiches for lunch. The meeting will take place in the Drawing Room on the 3rd floor.

If you can make it, please send an email to Johanna, communications@edinburghpalette.co.uk with your name and which time you can attend.

We’ll send you more information about registration soon, but for now we’d just like all of you who are interested to keep the 21st of April free in your diaries.

Studio location required for short film

Hi, my name is Euan Gilmour and I am a Edinburgh based filmmaker. I am currently in pre-production for making a 90 second short film to be submitted for a film competition and am looking for an artist studio (preferably painter studio) as a location to film in.

Due to the length of the film we would not need to work in the space long and would only need the space for half a day maximum. The short film has no dangerous or destructive action occurring in it and we will of course leave the space exactly as we found it.

We are planning to film at some point between now and the 6th of February. The dates we are currently looking at are January 29thFebruary 4th, 5th or 6th and would of course look to work within the timetable of the studio occupant.
