EdinburghJudo needs your help!

Attention Edinburgh Palette Family!

One of our resident groups, EdinburghJudo, is applying through the 2017 Aviva Community Fund to upgrade our building’s facilities! Should they be successful they will be converting the current toilets in to changing rooms with showers, including a disabled changing and toilet facility! To do this, we need you! Aviva Community Fund application success depends on votes, and WE NEED YOU!!

Please if you have a couple of minutes sign up to add your weight to a funding bid to help develop the facilities in our building! It takes two minutes and is very easy! Visit the Aviva Community Fund website to vote. If you want to see more of what goes on at EdinburghJudo head to floor 1 in the building to have a look, where the staff will happily show you about, or head to www.edinburghjudo.com for more information!

Open Doors 2017 | Thank you everyone!

The Open Doors was a fabulous event this year with approximately 1500 people coming through our doors over the weekend. The feedback we have had so far has all been very positive and the team had a lot of fun while working hard too.

A HUGE thank you to all the studio holders for opening their spaces, workshop and event leaders who made the event something really special, volunteers and staff that took care of everyone and helped guide visitors through the maze that is St Margaret’s House, and to all the visitors that came and saw what we are up to in the building. We look forward to doing it again.

If you have any photos of the event we would love to see them! Share them with Johanna via email communications@edinburghpalette.co.uk.

We’d love to hear how the event was for you and any ideas you might have for future Open Doors events. If you have any feedback you’d like to share, send it on to the email address above also,or if you would rather submit feedback anonymously, feel free to write a letter and put it in Johanna’s Pigeonhole in the third floor office.

Our next big event is the Christmas Makers Fair an the  9th and 10th of December. If you are interested n taking part or finding out more, come to the Arts Communities Office on the third floor or keep an eye out for more information coming soon.
