2017 marks the launch of the SCOTTISH PORTRAIT AWARDS (SPA) which seek to bring together the very best in contemporary Scottish Portraiture. To give you a brief recap on entry requirements:

Car park closed after 31st March

Building work is soon about to start on studios, toilet and workshops being built on the car parking spaces under St Margaret’s House. The map below shows where you’ll be able to find free on street parking.

COME ALONG for a FREE SCREENING of the DOCUMENTARY ‘Solidarity According to Women’ in the Drawing Room (3.10) at St Margaret’s House this Saturday.

Free event from 6.30pm with refreshments by donation. 

They had the best years of their lives ahead of them. They were in their twenties and thirties and they chose to rebel instead of settling down and living fairly peaceful lives.

Link up | Art Space for Women Workshop

Link Up Women’s Support Centre is hosting an Art Space for Women Workshop with Selma Augestad (ALP) this Thursday 23 March, 1-3pm

The Adult Learning Project are setting up a new Art Space for Women project which will look at exploring and reflecting on women and art – as well as taking action by making art!  The taster session at Link-Up Womens’ Support Centre will look at women’s representation in traditional and feminist art, and we will use collage making to make our own art.
