Opportunity | Online shop featuring Edinburgh Palette tenants

Residents Deb Ball (5.19c) and Jane Buxton (2.15) have been investigating ways that artists and makers at St Margaret’s House can sell their work via a shop – probably online – with some support from Edinburgh Palette.
There’s too much information to put in an email, so Deb and I suggest having a meeting on Thursday 10th March at 7pm in the third floor library for anyone who is interested in getting some form of shop up and running so that we can

Drawing on Drawing exhibition at ECA

‘Drawing on Drawing’ is a major exhibition of drawings which runs at ECA until 4th March 2016.

The exhibition will bring together works by current students in all years from across the School of Art, alongside drawings from staff and invited alumni, for whom drawing is a central part of their practice. This includes Edinburgh Palette resident artists past and present, such as Robyn Benson, Seamus Killick and Deirdre Macleod.

Note to all tenants | Insurance inspections

Attention all studio holders and sharers
There will be an insurance inspection in the building on Wednesday 2nd of March. They will be inspecting every hallway. We will notify you by email if access to any specific studios is needed.
Please ensure that we have your updated Risk Assessment form on file, and that there are no violations of your tenancy agreement in any of the corridors, e.g. pressure canisters, naked flames, non oil-filled radiator heating, overloading plug points, trailing wires, tripping hazards, etc.

Help Saras Feijoo bring her show to Brighton Fringe

Memories of a Lullaby is a one woman show based on a (my) true life-story about growing up in Venezuela between horror and beauty, desperation and hope, the need to remember and the wish to forget.

Memories of a Lullaby questions how social-political conditions shape us as individuals, while attempting to give a perspective on how our realities differ greatly depending on where we are born and raised in the world.
