Custom House Days of Advent Christmas Market

Scottish Historic Buildings Trust (SHBT) is hosting a Christmas Market in Custom House on the 12th and 13th December. This links in with the well-publicised Days of Advent.

SHBT is looking for businesses to exhibit and sell their goods both food, drinks, art and products. We are looking for products that will sell for the value of between £5 and £40 with the majority of products (excluding food) being around the £5-20 mark.

I am a mature Italian photographer, recently moved to Edinburgh, and I am carrying out a research project which aim is to investigate, through the use of photography, the essence of painting/sculpting and what painting/sculpting implies mainly in terms of thought and inspiration of the painter/sculptor.

Local Easel-making service for painters

I heard that a lot of easels are quite flimsy and tend to break easily, or else are very expensive.

A painter asked me to make a more sturdy easel for her and hence I wonder if any other artists would be looking for a better, yet affordable easel as well?
