Chance to help Napier University student

We just received the following message from a local student:

I am a third year Croatian photography student at Edinburgh Napier University. I am doing a project called “Fitting into the background” and have chosen painters as my subject matter. I would like to take a picture of a painter in his/her studio, surrounded by all the tools of the trade and artwork.
I kindly ask you to provide me with the names of the artists that are currently using your studios so I can get to them in order to see who would be happy to help me with this project.

If you can help, please email Marina – marina.joncic@gmail.com – directly.

Thrive at St Margaret’s House | with Jan Bee Brown

Jan Bee Brown has been busy this autumn as Reader in Residence at Falkirk Libraries with The Scottish Book Trust. One of her transformative projects involved getting creative – Walking With Words down Falkirk’s famous Forth & Clyde canal.  You can get a taste of this on iPlayer as Radio 4’s Ramblings joined Jan on one of her walks in their new series Walking with Artists.
