Workshop | Introduction to Tapestry Weaving

5 week course, 2 hours per week, times TBC


Learn the basic skills from warping a frame, developing a design, working with colour and texture, to mounting your finished weaving.
Loom and yarn will be provided


A maximum of 4 students per class
Course is £150 for non-residents, £110 for Edinburgh Palette Residents

Scanner needed | Dementia art project

Care For Carers are looking to create Life Story/Memory Books with carers and people with Dementia together to help sharing memories. We will be asking carers to bring in old photos and we would like to copy them for the books.

Call for spaces | Film project

I’m looking for a relatively large empty space such as an older ‘office type house’. Similar to a hospital or some type of institution, with corridors and many rooms, some small and some large. Preferably but not necessarily with kitchen and toilet part, and all the various rooms and office house has.  It is for feature film production that will possibly be recorded for roughly a month in Autumn (time to be determined). more
