Opportunity | Madelvic House Open day

We are a community group in Granton looking for artists to attend an open day in Madelvic House. We are developing ideas for the building which, if sustainable, could lead to us acquiring the building. The current plans are to develop a creative hub; please come along to give us your impression of the space and whether it might be somewhere you could see yourself working.

Watercolour workshop with Aine Divine

Lake in African DressOn this 2 day workshop we’ll look at ways of representing the portrait head in the medium of water colour, while working from direct observation of the model. The focus will be on capturing the general shapes that make up the head and shoulders, on being attentive from beginning to end and making fresh marks as you make fresh discoveries.

24th April 2015 10-5  L A Young designs.  Edinburgh based graphic designer Leigh Young creates personalised designs on T shirts, tote bags and wall art.

Saturday 2nd May – Thursday 7th May 2015  – Green Party take over the police box again.  The opportunity to challenge the Greens on obscure parts of their manifesto.

Fringe project seeks crash mat
