Eclectic Gallery Exhibition Opening in Leith Library

Eclectic Gallery has been set up to give artists an affordable space in which to exhibit their work. We also bring wonderful affordable art to the public.  Think of the eclectic Gallery as a large tent that moves around Edinburgh, bringing you new, fresh and often unseen art. If you want to be in with a chance of getting some of that greatness, then get down to Leith Library, where dust ain’t settling. This exhibition will be in aid of the Alzheimers Scotland, with sales proceeds going to them and general admission free to the public.

St Margaret’s House Tenants Clothes Swap!

We are having our first clothing swap (for both men and women!) – hosted by the Green Team’s own Jaimie MacDonald and Sheila Masson. This event is primarily for tenants but feel free to bring a friend. Also – BYOB! 😀

Schedule:
6pm: Drop off your items, have a glass of wine and start browsing.
6.30pm: Start claiming items!

Location: The Green Team Lounge on the Ground Floor.

The rules:
1) Everyone must bring at least one item of quality clothing.
2) Only things in good condition – washed (and ironed – if needed) please.
2) You will have half an hour to browse before the swapping opens.
3) No item may be claimed before the swapping begins.
4) As soon as the swap is declared open, everyone may take what they want.
5) Remember no scratching, spitting or fighting 😉

Suggested items: women’s and men’s clothing (all sizes please), jewellery, shoes, hats, scarves and other accessories.

Please note – you can also drop off items during the day if you are in the building – in fact this would be preferable so that we can get things set up ahead of time
