Awesome Folk run a variety of arts and crafts workshops around Edinburgh for adults, children & families.
“Primary Art” is for 5 – 11 years, where children learn a little about an artist and use this as a starting point for their own work (£5). “Art for all” workshops are for 16 years upwards, where you explore an artist and then experiment with some of their techniques or mediums (£10). Both of these are weekly workshops can be booked in half term blocks.
They also provide one off workshops for parties, birthdays, hen nights or other events, where you can choose what you want to make and do.
If you want to do your own thing they now also hire their purpose-built studio space in St Margaret’s House. It will comfortably hold 10-12 people for workshops (£5 per hour). Please email them if you’d like to make a booking.
