News Exhibition | Out of Sight, Out of Mind

St Margaret’s House resident, Jamie King is one of over 100 artists currently exhibiting at Summerhall as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival.  Jamie has four self portraits displayed as part of the exhibition which portray his own personal journeyover the past two years. He says that working on this project has been immensely cathartic and hopes that many people go see the exhibition.

This diverse collection of multimedia artworks aims to get us talking about mental health, raise awareness and challenge preconceptions.

A collaboration between MECOPP Gypsy/Traveller Carers’ Project, Outlook, The Alma Project, Space Artworks, Barony Contact Point, Penumbra Edinburgh Self Harm Project, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and CAPS Independent Advocacy.
