MCFB Exhibition 24-27th May 2016 at Out of the Blue Drill Hall
Call for submissions
Submission deadline 2nd May 2016
The Multi Cultural Family Base on Coburg Street Leith, work with children and theirfamilies who are having difficulties. Some of these difficulties are practical, such as housing or financial problems. Others are more personal, such as dealing with discrimination or emotional difficulties. To mark the relaunch of one of our projects, the Banyan Project, we are holding an art event/ performance on May 24th at Out of the Blue Drill Hall, Dalmeny Street, Leith.
We are looking for wall based submissions in any medium for the exhibition, with a sale value of £300 or less, on the theme ‘Relationships’.
In addition we are holding a blind auction of postcards, also on the theme ‘Relationships’ . For this part of the exhibition we will provide participating artists with a blank postcard to work on and add their interpretation of the theme.
