Thursday 2 June 2016 7:00pm - 9:00pm
St Margaret's House

Taught by Edinburgh Design School

A Pottery course over 3 fifteen week terms following 3 Scottish Qualification Authority dedicated pottery units. This course allows you to explore pottery techniques in more depth enabling you to develop and refine your practice.

You can take this option one term at a time. You will learn the pottery fundamentals designing and building your own functional and sculptural forms in clay. You will study the design process and use pottery techniques and glazes to create and make your own pottery.
The fifteen week programme is £300 per term with materials, firing costs and certification included. Classes are on Thursday evenings 7pm – 9pm.

  • This class is for people who already have some experience.
  • You will need to have completed our ten week foundation class or be at that level.
  • We have had lots of superb students who have studied elsewhere who join us to progress their practice.

If you are unsure please send some images of your work to Alex who will advise on your level.

The classes are focused and relaxed and are taught in our bespoke ceramics studios and in partnership with the Bridge Pottery Collective. All our classes are taught by fully qualified art and teacher trained professionals.
