Taught by Edinburgh Design School
A ten week, Foundation course which teaches hand building, wheel and surface decoration. This course is all about learning technique and developing a creative approach to pottery. You will learn to make a range of pots including Pinch pots. Coil pots and slab pots. You will be introduced to the glazing and firing processes and safe working studio practice.
Once you have competed this programme or be at that level you will be eligible for entry to the Scottish Qualifications Authority certificate pottery programme.
This course is on Wednesday mornings or Wednesday evenings 7pm – 9 pm and costs £250 with materials and firing costs included.
