art fairThe Edinburgh Art Fair brings together 60 art galleries from the UK and abroad under one roof, at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, for three days (14-16 November). It is a unique opportunity to view, and buy, a wide range of contemporary art.

The Fair is open to everyone! Families are particularly welcome: we offer a free creche for young children and many hands-on activities for older kids, and adults!

The Fair presents a very wide range of art. This year, some of the best of Scottish art will be on show with the participation of eminent institutions such as The Royal Scottish Academy and The Scottish Gallery. At the same time, the Fair will have a definite international dimension with representation from Ireland, Poland, Spain, India and Australia. Check out in particular Tingari Arts representing Aboriginal artists from Australia, Galeria Gaudi from Spain, Adhunik Gallery from India and Polish Art Europe.

The Fair is also an opportunity to find out more about art. Demonstrations by acclaimed artists, including Henry Kondracki and George Donald, are programmed each afternoon. Free printmaking workshops and painting sessions are available for adults and children throughout the Fair on a drop-in basis.
