Resident Fremi Art & Design are taking part in The Scone Palace Antique and Fine Art Fair this weekend, 6-8 March, 10.30am -5pm.
We are showing watercolours by Victorian artists such as: Waller Hugh Paton, Sam Bough, John MacWhirter and Sir Muirhead Bone, and in contemporary selection, watercolours by John Busby, screen-prints by Bob Batchelor and Mina Braun, as well as stone lithography by Gill Tyson and Catherine Anne Hiley.
The centrepiece of our stand is a watercolour mounted on canvas by Waller Hugh Paton, ‘Black Pool, Killiecrankie’, accompanied by a small watercolour documenting it, and a page of Paton’s handwritten notes recording details of his journey to Killiecrankie and descriptions of paintings based on his sketches made in this location.
